‘State of the Port’ Scheduled for Jan. 29 Exec. Dir. Richard D. Steinke to Deliver Annual Report January 19, 2010 Port of Long Beach Executive Director Richard D. Steinke is set to deliver his annual “State of the Port” address on Friday, January 29, bringing insight and perspective to one of most critical junctures in Port’s nearly century long history. The New Year marked a milestone for the Port’s signature Clean Trucks Program, which has decreased truck related pollution by nearly 80 percent; the economy and global trade is beginning to show signs of recovery after a precipitous decline; and the Port is poised to start work on development projects that will leave an imprint for generations to come.
