Port of Long Beach Executive Director Richard D. Steinke will deliver the annual “State of the Port” address on Friday, January 29, from the Hyatt Regency Long Beach starting at 12:30 p.m.

This year's report comes at one of most critical junctures in the Port’s nearly century long history. The New Year marked a milestone for the Port’s signature Clean Trucks Program, which is expected to surpass initial pollution reduction goals come spring; the economy and global trade is beginning to show signs of recovery after a precipitous decline; and the Port is poised to start work on development projects that will leave an imprint for generations to come.
