Port Forecasting Event Set for March 31 Top industry experts to give insights on cargo outlook February 12, 2010 The Port of Long Beach will host its annual industry forecast event, "Pulse of the Ports," March 31 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Long Beach. The event will be from 7 to 10:30 a.m. Amid continued economic uncertainty, this popular event will bring together top industry experts from throughout the supply chain to offer their timely views on the global economic outlook, and their forecast for the maritime, shipping and retail industries. The speakers this year include: Dr. Joseph Magaddino, Chair of the Department of Economics at California State University Long Beach; Jeff Siewert of Home Depot; Wolfgang Freese, President of Hapag-Lloyd America; Frank Capo, VP of Customer Service and Sales for Total Terminals International; John P.
